

The audit of the Quality Management and Food Safety Management Systems according to the International Standards ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 22000: 2005 was successfully completed by the DQS Hellas Certification Body.
POLICY ON FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY
A basic principle and commitment of ‘Nektar Brothers G. Kourtidis S.A’ is the assurance of the quality, safety and hygiene of its products, by applying all the processes associated with it, from design and raw materials, production and quality control, to distribution and after-sales service.
The company sets the following goals for the quality, safety and hygiene of its products:
-Customer satisfaction and health assurance.
-Compliance with the prescribed specifications for its products and their production under fully controlled hygiene and safety conditions.
-The continuous improvement of the quality level of its products, with the development and improvement of the techniques and equipment, the organization and the quality of management.
-Ensure that the risks that may arise in relation to the products are identified, evaluated and controlled so that the products do not harm the health of the consumer.
-Monitor and comply with legal and regulatory requirements and mutually agreed customer requirements for food safety.
-Set annual goals for the quality and safety of its products.
-Ensure effective communication with suppliers and subcontractors, customers or consumers, health and other public authorities on issues related to product quality and safety.
-Ensure effective communication with staff on conditions that affect food safety.
-Provide all necessary resources for the smooth and efficient operation of the System and business segments.
-Perform scheduled internal audits to confirm the effective implementation of the System, and also review the System as part of the annual review so as to ensure its continuous sufficiency, adequacy and effectiveness, as well as its improvement.
-Apply all necessary actions to satisfactorily remedy any non-compliances detected, even when the final product is on the customer’s hands.
All executives and employees are involved in achieving these goals by contributing to the proper observance of the Quality Assurance System in accordance with ELOT EN ISO 9001: 2015 and the Food Safety Management System in accordance with ELOT EN ISO 22000: 2005, applied by ‘Nektar Brothers G. Kourtidis SA’.
Quality is a key responsibility of the Management and the result of good cooperation.
